Rail Passenger Survey

Consultation closing on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 5pm

One of the biggest studies on passenger rail services between Albury-Wodonga and Melbourne is about to get under way and Border and North East residents are urged to get on-board and have their say.

AlburyCity, Wodonga, Wangaratta and Benalla Councils have joined forces to fund the research project which will look at both existing and potential demand for rail services, current perceptions of train travel and the social and economic impact of rail on local communities.

On behalf of your local council, we invite you to participate in the following survey to better understand your views on rail passenger services and how you travel to Melbourne. The survey is an important platform for the local community to provide valuable feedback to the council about rail passenger services.

The survey will be open for participation until Friday, December 9, 2016 and will take around 10 minutes to complete. Your comments will remain confidential and anonymous in line with the Privacy Act and any reporting or analysis will be conducted in aggregate form and will not be traceable back to individuals.
